He served as the Chairman of the Medical Devices and Diagnostic Sub-Committee for the ACCJ from 2005/2007. While in Japan Jean-Luc was the chairman of the US/Japan Business Council from 2009-2011.
Jean-Luc started his career with Johnson & Johnson in the US, New-Zealand, Fiji Islands, Hong-Kong and Singapore. Jean-Luc was with Becton-Dickinson as President of Japan and then President Worldwide Consumer Healthcare based in Tokyo and New-Jersey.
Jean-Luc was President for Independence Technology, a Johnson & Johnson company specializing in state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology based in New-Jersey. He started with Medtronic as a Senior VP, President for Asia-Pacific based in Tokyo and Singapore. Previous to that he was with Medtronic as Executive VP, Group President Int’l with a $8.0B P&L. Jean-Luc was previously Corporate VP and President International Baxter responsible for all international operations managing a $8.2B P&L based in Chicago. He currently serves as a steering committee member on the Singapore’s government’s CFE (Committee for the Future Economy) and as co-chair with Minister Iswaran on the sub-committee for Future Growth Industries and Markets
